.223 77 Gr Subsonic 50ct NEW

.223 or 5.56 Subsonic ammunition utilizes the Sierra SMK 77 grain projectile.  Mean velocity of 1070 FPS.  This is a specialty cartridge for small varmints or pest species and maintains subsonic velocities in rifle length barrels.  While every effort has been made to produce ammunition that cycles properly, the subsonic .223 will not function the action of semi auto's that have not been tuned for low pressure ammunition.  It is recommended to shoot these in bolt action or well functioning semi auto's with suppressors, adjustable gas systems and low mass buffers. 

Brass: Offered in new brass only.
