So it's come that time in the evolution of Iron Mike Armory where we have decided to specialize in a couple key areas.  As I have recently been bitten by the long range bug, it seems only fitting that this is the direction I want to bring the future of Iron Mike Armory LLC and its future.  We have been trudging along trying to do some of the gun shows and peddling our wares but lately that has proven to be a circumstance of diminishing returns.  Whether it's the horrendous economy, inflation, the season, the shows, or just the enthusiasm of patrons in general it appears to us that Gun shows are not a viable alternative in the age of online shopping and the sporting goods market.  

Now i'm sure that you have noticed this trend as well ( I need the clip from Bob Uecker here saying "judging by your attendance you haven't".) so that brings us to our areas of focus.  We have seen the market change dramatically in the last 12-18 months and there has been a glut of extremely low priced ammunition in a few select calibers and it appears that retailers are using these as loss leaders.  This has proven to be quite interesting as the pricing of components has skyrocketed recently to where most individual loaders cannot even make ammo for the price of the components any more.  This market includes 9mm, .38, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and to some extent the generic versions of .223 / 5.56.  As long as this trend continues we don't see any significant need to be in these markets.  The good news is our friends and fairly close neighbors Defender Ammunition are in a good position to provide you with a great product made in the USA by Veterans.  We will continue to carry their ammunition so that you can source it directly from us as long as it's viable in the current market.  They produce a great product in sufficient enough scale to be able to provide for the vast majority of economic ammunition dispersal.  

So that brings us to OUR focus areas.  We have become inspired by the Precision Rifle Series and it's neighboring faction NRL.  To this end, the vast majority of our products moving forward will focus on this discipline and the equipment, ammunition, and supplies needed to pursue your dreams of being successful with PRS.  That means we will have ammunition for the tactical class: .308 and heavyweight .223.  The 6mm line to start with 6mm Creedmoor, 6mm GT by GA Precision, 6mm ARC for the gas gunners, 6.5 Creedmoor (of course), and we will be adding 6 dasher, 6mm BR etc in the future.  Since I personally shoot in the production class for PRS, we will have lots of items and equipment geared towards that.  I'm not ready yet to jump up to the Open class as having a good supply of equipment for that would be currently cost prohibitive.  So I will just yeet a big list of suppliers we think are very worthy of your future shooting self in this discipline.  Masterpiece Arms, Bergara, and GA Precision are probably your first choices when searching for a gun to get into the production class.  MDT, Cole-tac, Armageddon gear, Nedved precision, Alpha Munitions, Gray ops CNC, Kestrel, Triggertech, APA Precision, Athlon, Arken Optics USA, Vortex, Leupold and a few others should round out the rest of the gear you need.  We will start sourcing products from most of these folks for your needs.  Then when you are ready to jump to Open class I think it's a no brainer to look at MDT, Pristine Actions, Curtis Actions, GA Precision, Manners Stocks, McMillan Stocks, Masterpiece Arms again, and so many others.
